The daughter of an Afghan politician has reportedly died of her injuries after being raped by American soldiers stationed in Afghanistan’s southwestern province of Farah. US forces aboard five Toyota Hiace vans transferred the teenage girl along with several other Afghan women and girls to a military base in the province. Female Australian soldier allegedly raped on duty

The Australian Defence Department is investigating the alleged rape of a soldier while on duty in Afghanistan. It is alleged the woman was raped at a military base in Tarin Kot in Uruzgan province last month. She reported the incident to her superiors last week.

Two British soldiers have been arrested over claims they abused Afghan children aged about ten. The accused pair — a sergeant and a private in the Mercian Battle Group — allegedly encouraged a boy and a girl to touch them through their clothes. They are said to have filmed the children doing it before showing the footage to other soldiers on laptops.

He then fled the country by flying to Tenerife.

(Reuters) – Violent sex crimes committed by active U.S. Army soldiers have almost doubled over the past five years, according to an Army report released on Thursday. Reported violent sex crimes increased by 90 percent over the five-year period from 2006 to 2011. There were 2,811 violent felonies in 2011, nearly half of which were violent felony sex crimes. Most were committed in the United States.
